How we got our start?
Montemaggio has existed since 14th Century as a Tower but became a vineyard in 1975 when the first vines were planted. However our wine affaire has started when my family purchased the estate 13 years ago making it into something very unique + special: an organic eco-system with a life of its own.
What makes our product unique?
Due to our altitude (600 a.s.l) and the method of vinification, our wines are aged and refined in the bottle for a long time. It is a process that requires a lot of patience, but in the end gives rise to a product with a very unique taste. We release wines into the market when they are fully ready!
Why we love what we do?
We are also a fully qualified organic estate since 2009 and have been teaching all our clients about importance of an organic agriculture. We love wine, nature, rich culture of heritage and traditions, and it brings us an immense joy to be able to create genuine wine and share our rich culture.!
